Trobades MMI presenta: JOHN BUTCHER – DON MALFON – AGUSTÍ FERNÁNDEZ
This is a unique opportunity to see JOHN BUTCHER with DON MALFON and AGUSTÍ FERNÁNDEZ playing as a trio on the same stage. The concert is a gem for the Barcelona improvised music (free improvisation) scene. John Butcher hasn’t come to play in Barcelona for almost a decade as he lives in England and tours worldwide. Don Malfon lives half the year in Mexico and his tours mean that he is rarely seen on the local scene. And Agustí Fernández, although he lives in Catalonia, it is almost impossible to catch him between flights rotating around the planet.
This is an unprecedented trio, which will come together for the first time here, at NOTA79, and which promises to be a first-class musical night.
