LEM : ORCHESTRA FIRELUCHE

In 2017, after years of attempts, the Fireluche Orchestra performed at the LEM Device. This band from the Cellera de Ter (Girona) works with conventional tools, classical and diverse cultural instruments, toy pianos, curious widgets… It reaches the 20th year of its career, continuing with its spirit indebted to that of Pascal Comelade and a very know-how own, friendly but not naive. After publishing ‘Ataràxia’ in 2019 together with Pau Riba, this year they present their natural continuation, ‘Segona florada’, an album with ten tracks full of familiar references, recorded between October 2021 and January 2022, curull of life and life lived. Pau Riba, a poet and storyteller, stands out, in full creative form and who, halfway between singing and reciting, gives an exciting and sincere voice to his own and other texts, written for the occasion or recovered, wrapped in the amazing music by the Fireluche Orchestra. Among them is ‘D’Aina’, the last song composed by Pau Riba, a whole song dedicated to whom, for weeks, he nursed him with a drop of breast milk every day.
