LEM – CLOSING CONCERT – : JØRGEN TELLER . Exchange with HY! Festival (Denmark)

An artist with a long career as an electric guitarist, vocalist, electronic musician and performer, Jørgen Teller returns to the LEM Device after his last performance in 2015. He has released many records both solo and with Jørgen Teller & The Empty Stairs and has also collaborated with many artists from his country, Denmark, as well as international artists such as Rhys Chatham, Fast Forward, Kasper Topeplitz, Jacob Draminsky, Otomo Yoshihide…

This time his project ‘Static Teller’ accelerates new minimalist texts with vibrant vocal delays, his electric guitar ‘Le Bastard’ and static synth LFOs. ‘Static Teller’ was created during his residency at the avant-garde studio ‘The Worm’ in Rotterdam (Netherlands). He pressed the ‘Rec’ and used all the old equipment of the studio, such as an ARP 2500, an EMSi and a Publison DHM89… An extraordinarily interesting concert to open the closing of LEM 2022 at the Museu de la Música.
