In this edition we will have a double bill with the following performances:
\n1\/ Pol Padr\u00f3s [trumpet] | Oriol Roca [drums] | Fernando Carrasco [guitar + fx]
\nThese three musicians focus their activity around improvisation, being some of the most
\nhighlights of the Barcelona scene. They will offer a performance based on timbral exploration,
\ndrones, rhythms and hypnotic landscapes reminiscent of ambient music, noise, free or weird
\nfolk.
\nPol Padr\u00f3s improvises through abstraction, using extended techniques, mutes and effects,
\nto generate a multiplicity of soundscapes. Within this field, his works stand out
\nalong with Free Art Three or Mem\u00f3ria Uno.
\nOriol Roca is a drummer of great versatility and a markedly melodic style. This has allowed him
\nmove in various styles. In the more risky music sector, his activity stands out in
\nrecent formations such as T\u00e0lveg, Antiterra or Clara Lai trio. Furthermore, in his role as
\ncomposer and sound designer, creates works whose objective is to generate unique auditory experiences
\nthat challenge the public.
\nFernando Carrasco is a guitarist attracted to the exploration of the textural world of sound and its
\nexpansive aspect, the tension between the abstract and the minimalist melody, drone, ambient and
\nuse of elements typical of North American folk. He has been a member of the training
\nV\u00f6lga and L’Ocell.<\/p>\n
2\/ \u00c0lex Reviriego [double bass] & Vasco Trilla [percussion]
\nAfter dozens of albums, concerts and tours as members of various groups (Phicus,
\nV\u00f6lga, Liba Villavecchia trio…), it was practically inevitable that Vasco Trilla and \u00c0lex Reviriego
\nThey also explored the duo format. They will offer a concert based on a rigorous exploration
\nof timbre, materials and durations.<\/p>\n
