Table and Objects<\/em>\u00a0is a series of works that use feedback processes to explore the sonic properties of everyday objects and materials (such as cardboard boxes, jars or cups). The term “table” refers both to the input-free (feedback) mixer that is used to produce sound, and to the table where objects are placed and manipulated, acting as amplifying bodies.<\/p>\n

The pieces in this series can be compared to the theme of still life in baroque painting, which presents arrangements of objects in carefully composed environments, providing opportunities for the study of form, colour and balance. In the same way, each piece in\u00a0Table and Objects\u00a0<\/em>explores a particular combination of objects, structure or performative routine.<\/p>\n
